GROWING INSTRUCTIONS
STEP 3: 💧 Watering and Harvesting
🌊 Watering: Water regularly, especially in the morning. Avoid overwatering to prevent root rot.
🌼 Flowering stage: When the plant begins to flower, add potassium fertilizer to boost fruit production.
🥒 Harvesting: After 45-60 days, luffa fruits will be ready. Harvest them while still green for the best flavor and texture.
STEP 1: 🪴 Prepare the Soil and Sow the Seeds
🌾 Choose soil: Use loose, nutrient-rich, and well-draining soil. If planting in a pot, choose one with drainage holes and a minimum diameter of 30 cm.
💧 Soak seeds: Soak the seeds in warm water (30-35°C) for 6-8 hours to encourage germination.
🌱 Sow seeds: Plant the seeds 1-2 cm deep in the soil, cover lightly, and keep the soil consistently moist. Place the pot or bed in a sunny spot.
🌿 Care for seedlings: When the seedlings reach 15-20 cm in height, apply organic fertilizer or NPK to promote growth.
🪜 Build a trellis: Once the vines start to grow, install a trellis or support structure. A trellis 1.5-2 meters tall will allow the plants to thrive and make harvesting easier.
